Glasgow MI Summer School 2025
The Glasgow MI Summer School 2025 is open for registration!
The Glasgow MI Summer School 2025 is a three-day event from the 11th-13th June at the Golden Jubilee Hotel in Glasgow. The summer school aims to be a refreshing learning event for both MI practitioners and trainers. Held at the award-winning Golden Jubilee Hotel, attendees will have ample space and time to connect with each-other over the three days.
Day One (11th June)
Day one is a full day skills-workshop, where attendees will have the choice of two parallel sessions:
- Workshop A: ‘Motivational Interviewing from the Inside Out’ with Dr David Rosengren, Dr Lynne Johnston and Dr Charlotte Hilton.
- Workshop B: ‘Unlocking the Power of the Brain - Transform Your Training with Imaginative Learning' with Jane Groves and Dr Fiona McMaster.
Spaces on the Day One skills-workshops are capped at 40 per session- so get your space soon! Tickets to Day One cost £150.
Days Two and Three (12th & 13th June)
Days two and three are made up of will provide an immersive exploration of MI related themes. There will be 8 x 2-hour workshops, offered over two parallel streams- one focused on practitioners and one focused on trainers. Our aims for these workshops are to provide a deep dive into an MI related topic area. To build knowledge- from the ground up, tapping into the wealth of expertise we have in the room. Our focus for the summer school is to develop key learning points and skills for attendees to takeaway and use in their MI practice and training.
More information about the Days Two and Three workshops will be communicated over the next few weeks.
The Day 2 & 3 ticket is £200- which includes both days.
The ticket to Day 1 (workshop A or B) are separate to the Day 2 & 3 ticket. If you would like to attend all 3 days, you should select a ticket for Day 1- for the workshop of your choice- and the Day 2 & 3 ticket. Day 2 &3 are included in the same one ticket.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel before 30 days of the event, you will receive a full refund, minus administration fees. Within 14 days of the event, you will receive a 50% refund, minus administration fees. Within 7 days of the event, you will not receive a refund. If you need to cancel your space, please do get in contact with us.
