TWO ESTABLISHED FOOD WRITERS JOIN FORCES TO DELIVER INSPIRING Workshops & Food Experiences in THE BIG KITCHEN at PARHAM HOUSE.

Valentina and Miranda were brought together by their love of food, cooking, family and stories. After many years of sharing cookery stages, teaching together and friendship, they are thrilled to be running workshops and food experiences together in a place they both love, The Big Kitchen at Parham House. They are delighted to be able to share their love of Italian and British ingredients, cook with gorgeous seasonal food and celebrate the abundance of Sussex produce. Workshops will be fun, friendly and packed with delicious food to cook, bake, eat and enjoy together. Learn new recipes and skills, enjoy time with friends and foodies and head home inspired and confident.

1. Bookings & Cancellation Policy

Our menu/course descriptions are a guide to thecontent. Please note that amendments to the content may be made at our discretion depending on availability of ingredients or other circumstances beyond our control.

Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis on receipt of full payment. We regret that no refunds will be given. Amendments to bookings may be made up to 28 days prior to the date of the workshop/event. If you find you are unable to attend a workshop/event less than 28 days before the date of the workshop/event you are welcome to send someone else in your place. These rules apply equally to gift voucher bookings.

2.  Cancellation or postponement by you: Where you are unable to attend aworkshop/event due to adverse weather conditions, illness or other personal circumstances, our booking and cancellation policy will still apply. However, at our sole discretion we will offer alternative dates for a replacement workshop/event at short notice (Late Availability Scheme). We cannot guarantee that alternative dates offered will be for the same workshop or even for the same day of the week.

3.  Cancellation by us: In the unfortunate and unlikely event that a workshop/event has to be cancelled, we will always try and give you as much notice as we reasonably can and customerswill be offered a choice of an alternative workshop/event or a gift voucher but will not be entitled to a refund. We will not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur.

If you have any concerns or queries regarding workshops/events please telephone us before booking.

Customers are asked to be sensitive to the privacy and enjoyment of other participants and residents at Parham Park when taking any photographic or video footage during our workshop/events.

In the event of an emergency please leave via the nearest available exit and assemble outside as directed

If you are driving, please don’t drink alcohol.

In the case of all hands-on cooking classes, please follow the following rules:

Wear sensible clothing and shoes – long sleeves and low heels!

Tie back long hair and remove any dangling jewellery

Please take extra care when handling sharp knives or hot pans.

Remove aprons before using the loos.

It is the participants responsibility to make any provision for food allergies, The Big Kitchen is a working kitchen and therefore cannot be allergy safe.
