18:15 Hands on mapping training

19:15 Continued mapping (+ pizza)

What is it?

Mapathons are events where a bunch of people get together to map for impact. This means looking closely at satellite imagery on laptops to carefully draw objects that can be seen --> like buildings or roads. This new data can then be used by humanitarian organisations to support their operations.

Where will we be mapping?

We will be working on a high-priority project - to be confirmed closer to date!

What do I need?

Bring a laptop, a mouse and enthusiasm (a mouse is not absolutely necessary but it makes mapping much faster).
