For one unforgettable night, Mission City Banquet Hall will disappear into candlelight, music, mystery, and The Black Rose.

Inspired by Gothic romance, Victorian grandeur, dark fairy tales, vampires, witches, masquerades, and the beauty of Halloween itself, The Black Rose Ball is an immersive evening created for adults who want something more memorable than an ordinary Halloween party.

Your ticket includes a professionally catered buffet dinner, live DJ and dancing until 1:00 AM, immersive décor, themed photo opportunities, entertainment, a costume showcase with prizes, and special surprises throughout the night. A cash bar will also be available.

You do not need an elaborate or expensive costume to attend, but guests are strongly encouraged to dress for the world of The Black Rose. Gothic elegance, Victorian fashion, vampires, witches, dark royalty, enchanted creatures, elegant horror, or your own dramatic interpretation are all welcome.

Come alone, with a partner, or bring your entire table of eight. This is a night designed for people to step outside ordinary life for the evening, dress up, have dinner, dance, take beautiful photos, and experience Halloween in a completely different way.

EVENING SCHEDULE

Doors open at 7:00 PM. We encourage guests to arrive early to enjoy the atmosphere, find their tables, order a drink, explore the ballroom, take photos, and settle in before dinner service begins. The catered buffet will be served at 8:00 PM, followed by an evening of entertainment, music, dancing, and surprises until 1:00 AM.

7:00 PM — The Ballroom Opens
Check in, enjoy the candlelit atmosphere, explore the ballroom, visit the cash bar, take photos, and find your table before the evening officially begins.
7:45 PM — Opening Ceremony
8:00 PM — Catered Buffet Opens
Buffet service concludes at approximately 9:30 PM.
9:15 PM — The Black Rose Comes Alive
The evening unfolds with live entertainment, the Costume Showcase, music, dancing, and unexpected moments revealed throughout the night.
1:00 AM — Event Concludes

Dress Code

This is the kind of night where you can really have fun with it and become someone completely different for a few hours. Maybe you have always wanted to show up as a vampire, a Victorian queen, a dark fairy, an elegant witch, Gothic royalty, or something so original that nobody quite knows what to call it. This is your chance to take the idea as far as you want. Your costume does not need to be expensive or professionally made. What matters is the creativity behind it, the story it tells, and the way it adds to the room.

We want people stopping each other for photos, noticing the details, and talking about the costumes long after the night is over. Professional photographers will be capturing the evening, and some of the most unforgettable costumes may be featured in future event promotions, social media, and local media coverage. If you've ever wanted an excuse to create something unforgettable, this might be it. The Black Rose will become what all of us bring into the room that night, so have fun with it, be dramatic, be strange, be beautiful, and give people something to remember.

BEFORE YOU PURCHASE

Check-In, Late Arrival and Re-Entry

Each admission ticket includes a unique QR code. Please have your ticket open on your phone or printed and ready to scan when you arrive. Your QR code will be scanned once during your initial check-in. After it has been scanned, the ticket will be marked as used and cannot be used for another admission. Guests will receive an event wristband after check-in. Please keep your wristband on for the entire evening. Guests who leave the venue may return by showing their intact wristband at the entrance. Lost, removed, damaged or transferred wristbands may not be accepted for re-entry. Late arrivals are welcome, but some scheduled activities and buffet service may already be underway or finished. Buffet service begins at 8:00 PM and is expected to conclude at approximately 9:30 PM. Arriving late does not qualify for a refund or partial refund.

Please do not share or publicly post your QR code. Screenshots, copies and forwarded tickets do not create additional admissions. The first successful scan will be treated as the valid use of that tickets. 

Tickets, Age and Event Policies

Ticket Sales
All ticket sales are final. Unused tickets may be transferred to another guest before the event.

Age Requirement
This is a 19+ event. Government-issued photo identification may be required at entry and when purchasing alcohol.

Dinner and Seating
Admission includes the catered buffet. Seating is available, but specific tables and seats are not guaranteed unless reserved.

Costumes and Conduct
Costumes are encouraged, but all props must be safe and non-functional. Unsafe, threatening, harassing or excessively disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.

Photography and Video
Photography and video will take place throughout the evening and may be used for event promotion or local media coverage.

Event Changes
The schedule, entertainment, décor, menu and activities may change if necessary.
