Mississinewa 1812 is the largest War of 1812 living history event in the United States - a unique opportunity to learn about America’s early frontier days through hands-on history.

Hosted by the not-for-profit Mississinewa Battlefield Society, this annual event commemorates the Battle of Mississinewa, which took place right here in Grant County on December 17th and 18th, 1812.

Families, students, and history lovers of all ages can explore authentic camps, meet historical reenactors, and experience life in the Indiana Territory as it was over 200 years ago.
