Hitchin's one and only swing dance nightclub is back!

Join us for an evening of LIVE swing music with toe-tapping tunes from the 1920s to the 2020s - each one picked to get you on the dance floor. 

Our repertoire includes Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Christina Aguilera, Cole Porter, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller and the Andrews Sister, to name just a few. 

What can you expect at A Night at the Woodside?

The venue is in the heart of Hitchin, an easy walk from the train station, and has plenty of parking. 

We have have a bar selling a variety of drinks at very competitive prices, and our dance floor is large and ideal for a swing out. 

The Music

Our unique sound is born from the magic of a close-knit team. With up to nine vocalists backed by drums, bass, piano, and brass, we create a rich, dynamic blend that gets toes tapping and hearts racing.

Our playlist is varied, covering songs from the 1920s all the way through to the 2020s, and is perfect for fans of Lindy, East & West Coast Swing, Jive and everything in between.
