MKP Nordic Diversity Training - for MKP initiated men

This training in two sessions: October 11 and 18, from 10:00 to 12:45 CEST/Stockholm time
Ever felt a cultural misunderstanding land sideways in a group? Wondered why some men never seem to find their way into MKP, or why they leave? This training gives you real tools, not theory for theory's sake.
The training is grounded in men’s work through the way it is structured: check-ins, personal reflection, small-group work, honest dialogue and practical application.
The content focuses on cultural communication through Hall and Hofstede, the Swedish context, belonging and identity, and finally how this affects recruitment and outreach within MKP.
Participants work with their own experiences and questions throughout, rather than simply receiving theory.
So diversity is the subject, but men’s work remains the method and the container.

Workshop 1 – Culture and Communication October 11
Your own stories of cultural misunderstanding, worked through together and with the support of recognised and researched models will be in focus.
Workshop 2 – Identity, Belonging and Recruitment October 18
The Swedish context, first- and second-generation immigrant experience, intersectionality, and the practical question MKP Nordic keeps circling back to: how do we actually reach and welcome men from different backgrounds?
Expect check-ins, breakouts, real case material from your own questions, and an action-planning close. Grounded in the same values as the rest of our work, just pointed at a blind spot most groups have.
📌 This training is for all LITs. This is a recommended diversity training. A recommended diversity training is a requirement for your moving from LIT to CLC.
📌 This training is also for all men intending to staff the Nordic Men of Colour NWTA in November, those who have completed it will be preferred for the November Men of Colour NWTA.
This training is only available for MKP initiated men.
