2022 MLC Homecoming Disc Golf Tournament
The MLC Alumni Relations office and our sponsor Dynamic Discs are excited to invite you to our second annual disc golf tournament for alumni and students here on the hill. The nine-hole course located in Luther Hollow was completed in 2019 and has been extensively used by our students ever since. This tournament will provide participants an opportunity to compete for the title and enjoy fellowship along the way.
As part of the $25 registration fee ($15 for current students) that is to be paid via credit card as you register on this site, each participant will receive a set of custom-stamped (see image below), high-quality Dynamic Discs. Included for all participants will be a Lucid Sparkle Trespass driver, a Lucid EMAC Truth midrange disc, and a Quickdry Towel. The retail value of the set alone is over $45. A maximum of 36 participants can register. Discs will be available to pick up at the course at tourney time.
You will receive your discs when you arrive at the course on Oct 9. Please arrive between 11-11:20. We encourage you to attend the 9:30 worship service in the Chapel of the Christ. The cafeteria will be open for brunch immediately after. In the event that you cannot make it after you register, please contact us and we will try to find a replacement. If we are successful, you will receive a refund. No-shows will forfeit their discs, and the registration fee will be donated to MLCAA to support the endowed scholarship and the current projects.
Sunday, October 9 (11:30)
Lord willing, the weather will cooperate, and we will be able to enjoy a wonderful spin through the beautiful park-like course. That said, the show will go on rain, shine, or snow. In addition to playing two rounds of 9-holes, there will be a couple of additional competitions (CTP, Ring of Fire, etc.) where you can win bonus prizes.

If you aren't able to make it here for Homecoming but would like to play the course another time, it is generally open to guests unless there is an athletics practice or game occurring in the area or a scheduled tournament (such as this one).
We are excited about this fun opportunity and hope to have a great group of MLC alumni coming together for some fellowship and fun on the course. Feel free to contact Steve Balza in the alumni office (507-217-1731 or alumni@mlc-wels.edu) if you have any questions.
