Beyond Modern Grantmaking: the training workshop

Beyond Modern Grantmaking Fundamentals is a NEW one day workshop designed to explore additional and emerging key topics in grantmaking.

This training will focus on four areas where many grantmakers are facing new challenges: rising application demand, navigating AI, and learning from non-traditional grantmaking approaches. 

Training content will draw on real-life anonymised examples and create space for honest discussion with peers and practical action planning.

This workshop is for anyone working within grantmaking organisations, whether private, government or corporate, who is keen to further develop their grantmaking skills.

It is also for anyone who attended a previous Modern Grantmaking Fundamentals training, and is now keen to refresh and build on this learning to tackle current opportunities and challenges.

Areas we will cover include:

- Managing Rising Demand: Higher Application Volumes & Pressure on Teams

- What to Do About AI: Practical Guidance for Grantmakers

- Learning from Non-Traditional Grantmaking Approaches

- Action Planning: Taking Ideas Back to Your Organisation.

All of the above will be taught in a highly interactive, 'lean forward' style with very little watch-and-learn and a lot of debate and exercises.

Refunds Policy

Cancellations made seven or more days before the workshop will receive 100% refunds. Cancellation seven or fewer days before the workshop are not eligible for refunds.
