2026 Modern Vintage Opera Gala at Metro Bis

Modern Vintage Opera is delighted to announce that our 2026 gala will take place at the fabulous Metro Bis Restaurant!  This beautiful venue showcases the cuisine of chef Chris Prosperi, renowned for his exceptional culinary dishes as well as his popular appearances on NPR's The Food Schmooze.  We look forward to welcoming you to this new setting for an unforgettable evening.

As in past years, the evening will feature an exceptional dining experience, interspersed with sets of opera music presented by some of the area’s most talented artists.  The evening will also feature a silent auction with generous donations from local businesses and community members.

This year's gala will include a three-course sit-down dinner. Guests will select their entrée and dessert from a prix-fixe menu after being seated.   The venue will accommodate allergies and diet restrictions at the time of ordering.

The meal will begin with the Metro Salad, followed by a choice of one of the following gluten-free entrees: grilled flat iron steak, pan-seared organic salmon, roasted lemon chicken, or metro risotto.  The dessert options include chocolate velvet torte (GF), apple tart, or coconut chia seed semifreddo (GF, DF, VG).
