'Coasts-in-Wiki' - Archaeology Workshops

Do you like detective work? Think you'd enjoy uncovering local history through technology, old photos and digital mapping?
We are running a free workshop where young people aged 14-17 can:

📸 Look at and recreate old photographs
🗺️ Explore historic maps
📱 Learn how to create 3D digital models of places using your phone
🌊 Upload photos, maps and discoveries to an interactive heritage map
💻 Learn how Wikipedia works and publish your own contributions online
🤝 Work with other young people, learn new digital skills, and help share your area's history with a wider audience.

No previous experience is needed. Devices, lunch and refreshments will be available throughout the workshops. PLUS you will receive a shopping voucher at the end!

The workshops will take place in October half term - October 28-30th, 10:00am-3pm each day. Depending on numbers and interest we may run the workshops again.

Please reserve your spot by registering below. Please ensure you use an email you check regularly, as we will be sending important information about the workshop!
