Winter 2026 Group Hypnobirthing Course, Taunton

Hey local mama-to-be! Welcome to our 5* rated Group Hypnobirthing Classes in Taunton, Somerset. This three week Birth Preparation course is perfect for January/February 2027 due dates (but is suitable from 20 weeks pregnant). Our classes are held at the cosy and relaxed Trull Community Centre in Trull, Taunton. 

Here are the dates for the Winter 2026 course:

Class 1: Saturday 21st November @ 1-4pm

Class 2: Saturday 28th November @ 1-4pm

Class 3: Thursday 5th December @ 1-4pm

Why?

For over a decade, I’ve supported parents-to-be as they prepare for one of the most powerful and transformative experiences of their lives. My understanding of birth comes from working as an NHS Midwife, experiencing birth myself three times over, and now guiding hundreds of families through calm, confident and positive birth preparation. Birth is not something to be feared. Your body is not broken, and you are not lacking anything. In fact, when we understand how birth works - how the body, mind and hormones are designed to work together - everything changes. Hypnobirthing is about reconnecting with this innate wisdom, releasing fears, and learning how to work with your incredible body during labour, rather than against it.

Preparing for your birth experience is up there with one of the most important things to prepare for. If left unprepared for and up to chance or 'luck', you are more likely to experience unnecessary medical intervention, and could be left feeling lacking in control and disappointed with how your birth went. Unnecessary medical intervention is on the rise, so understanding how to influence your birth for the better is essential.

This course is a Complete Birth Preparation Course - it's the only antenatal class you need! We cover all aspects of preparing for birth, with an emphasis on Hypnobirthing techniques to help you manage the unpredicatable marathon of labour for an empowering experience where you feel autonomy over your unique birth journey. Hypnobirthing has many benefits for you and for baby! These include a decrease in the need for pain relief, as well as promoting a shorter labour and less need for unnecessary medical intervention.

Where?

Our classes are held at Trull Community Centre in Trull, Taunton. The venue is just 5 minutes drive from Taunton Town Centre, has plenty of free parking and great accessibility. The classes are delivered in a friendly, relaxed and judgment-free environment, and are a great opportunity to meet other likeminded parents-to-be. Whether you're preparing to welcome your first or fifth baby, you will leave with the Hypnobirthing tools and techniques that will transform your knowledge, mindset and confidence for birth!

When?

This course runs on 3 x Saturday afternoons for three weeks. It is perfect if you are due in January/February. However, it is suitable anytime from 20 weeks pregnant. Each session is a 3 hour class packed full of interactive learning, where you’ll gain loads of knowledge and tools helping you feel really confident about your upcoming birth. Oh, and you'll make some new parent pals along the way too!
