Molly Caro May & Weena Pauly-Tarr
Events list
Molly Caro May is a teacher, storyteller, group facilitator, nervous system practitioner, and the author of two acclaimed literary memoirs, one of which was showcased in an article in the New York Times, and called "moving, poetic, and addictive" by Elle Magazine. For 17 years, she has run workshops and retreats, coached storytellers for the stage, and been one of the early consistent voices about human attention + embodiment in the face of modernity and technology. She is a seasoned personal narrative writer, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and bridges these two often separated fields: story and somatics. She lives in Montana.
Weena Pauly-Tarr, in her 28th year living in NYC, is a dancer, dance-maker, trainer, facilitator and somatic educator. After too many trainings, certifications, degrees and more recently, solo study, her curiosity now lives at the intersection of somatic therapy, dance and functional movement. It is in this fertile overlap that she developed SE+AM - a synergistic body of work combining Somatic Education guided by Somatic Experiencing® and Authentic Movement. Weena is currently building her next dance-theater piece, the third evening length piece in a trilogy, set to premiere in June 2027. Alongside this creative work, she facilitates SE+AM groups and sessions, and practices as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, personal trainer, and team facilitator within the international organization, Rooted Global Village. She is also a mother to four awesome people and a partner to Matt Tarr.
