This 90-minute Online Teacher Training + a Follow-On Parents’ Online Information Evening will give schools the knowledge and tools needed to begin their journey into Restorative Practices. Schools booking this course can enrol as many members of staff as they want to include in the training.

Only offered once this year in March, this unique opportunity is especially suited to schools that don’t have the funds to send multiple members of staff on our regular 3-part restorative practice training courses.

  • Essential restorative practices in the school context
  • How to get started using restorative practices on a whole school basis
  • How to fit Restorative Practices easily into your Code of Behaviour and Bí Cineálta Policies
  • How to get parents on-board with your school’s restorative journey

Participants will be issued a Handbook which will have everything they need to begin their journey.

Book one of three possible dates:
       Thursday, 12th March

Thursday, 19th March

Thursday, 26th March
always afternoons 3 – 4.30 p.m.

This training package has been designed to support Restorative Initiatives in schools. A core part of introducing restorative approaches in school is to get parents on-board.
With this in mind, participating schools can invite parents to a one-hour online evening session Being Restorative at Home. This will introduce parents to the concept of restorative practices at school and give them guidance on how to use restorative practices themselves with their children.

Being Restorative at Home is on Wednesday, 29th April, 7.30 to 8.30 p.m.

Cost: €250 per school for teacher training and parents' talk
