Grief & Letting Go Ceremony

7th November | 3:00–5:30PM | 16 spaces

A somatic ritual for honoring what has been, releasing what is ready & creating space for what comes next

“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

Carl Jung

What are you carrying that has never quite had the space to be felt?

Grief doesn’t have just one face.

It can come through the death of someone we love, but it can also live in a relationship that ended, a friendship that changed, miscarriage, changes in our health or body, a job or identity we have outgrown, a dream that didn’t unfold as we hoped, or simply the quiet exhaustion of being human.

There can also be another layer of grief , the grief of what could have been.

When a relationship ends, we may grieve not only the person or the relationship itself, but also the future we imagined together.

With a friendship, a career, a business or a dream, we can grieve both what we lost and what we hoped it might become.

Sometimes it’s not only what happened that needs to be mourned, but the hopes, expectations and possibilities we’re finally ready to let go of.

Sometimes we don’t even recognize it as grief.

We carry it.

We get on with life.

We stay busy.

We tell ourselves we should be over it.

And yet, something can still be there , waiting to be felt.

This ceremony is an invitation to turn gently towards what has been waiting for your attention.

Not to analyse it.

Not to force yourself to release.

Not to make yourself cry.

But to give your grief somewhere to land.

What to expect

Together, we’ll create an intimate ceremonial space where you can slow down, connect with your body and meet whatever is present for you.

Through embodied practices, breath, movement, sound and ritual, you’ll be invited to explore grief in your own way and at your own pace.

There may be tears.

There may be movement, sound, stillness, anger, tenderness or even laughter.

There may also be nothing dramatic at all.

There is no right way to grieve.

You won’t be expected to tell your story or explain why you’re there.

You’re welcome to participate in a way that honors your own boundaries.

The Ceremony

This will be an embodied and experiential ceremony, rather than a space where we sit and talk about grief.

Through carefully guided practices and ritual, you’ll be invited to meet what is present, give expression to what has been held, and create space for what is ready to shift.

You won’t need to tell your story or explain your grief.

You’ll be invited to move at your own pace, listen to your body and honor your own boundaries throughout.

We’ll move from honoring and letting go into integration and renewal, allowing space for both what has been and what wants to emerge next.

Because letting go doesn’t mean pretending something didn’t matter.

Sometimes it simply means:

This mattered.

I honor what it meant to me.

And I don’t need to carry it in the same way anymore.

You don’t have to grieve alone

There is something powerful about being surrounded by others without needing to fix one another, advise one another or take the pain away.

Simply witnessing and being witnessed.

Spaces are intentionally limited to a maximum of 16 people so that the ceremony can remain intimate, spacious and personally held.

You don’t need to arrive feeling “ready.”

You don’t even need to know exactly what you’re grieving.

Come as you are.
