This action-packed evening of short-form and long-form improv features:

HAT’s Winter Improv Class- First up, check out the (adult) students of Helena Avenue Theatre (HAT)’s Next Level Improv class. These performers are everyday people-around-town with day jobs from state workers to carpenters, and a newly found night-time passion of playing hard to develop their improv skills. Come see what they have learned!

Bozeman’s Fat Babby- Regular performers at Bozeman’s Last Best Comedy- Ty Gardner, Jakob Schultz, and Garrison Choitz- will be in town for one night only for an unforgettable performance as Fat Babby! This team brings years of cohesion and experience performing together to the Helena stage!

Improv Mining Co’s Boom Bust- Helena’s newest and funniest women’s short form improv team, Boom Bust, will crack you up with improv games! Performers Katy Wright, Leslie Holz, Morgan Estberg, and LeAnn Books will bring an explosively good time.

Improv Mining Co’s Dumb Canary- Long-time funny-men-around-town Improv Mining Co’s James Buscher, Scott Pargot, and Errol Koch introduce Dumb Canary! Dumb Canary is the same long-form comedy you’ve come to know and love from this raucous group!

Bozeman’s Fawn Stars - You’ve heard of the flight, fight, and freeze response to stress, now come meet the starts of fawning- Jay Hanewald and Addy Erickson! This Bozeman-based long-form improv team regularly performs at Last Best Comedy and will be in Helena for one night only! You don’t want to miss the elaborate characters and the performance chemistry of Jay and Addy!

Improv Mining Co’s Dumb Canary- Long-time funny-men-around-town Improv Mining Co’s James Buscher, Scott Pargot, and Errol Koch are now Dumb Canary! Dumb Canary is a full-length performance of the same long-form comedy you’ve come to know and love from this raucous group!

May 11^th

The performance starts at 2:00 pm.  A Mother of a Show!

After you’ve received your breakfast in bed and your macaroni necklace this Mother’s Day, come on over to the Helena Avenue Theatre for some laughs! The ladies of Improv Mining Co’s Boom Bust bring a silly and uproarious hour-long performance of short form improv. Boom Bust’s founding members (Katy Wright, Suzie Wilkins, Leslie Holz, Morgan Estberg, and LeAnn Books) bring big energy to the stage! Bring your mum, bring your kids, bring your family! (You don’t have to be a mother or have a mother to attend this laugh fest- everyone welcome!)

The Funny Bone Comedy Club is presented by the Montana Playwrights Network, a state-wide service organization supported by the Montana Arts Council, an agency of state government and the National Endowment for the Arts.
