Radical Goodbyes: Redefining Termination Sessions by Practicing Healthy Goodbyes

Please join me (Jessi Leader, LMFT) as I share about one of my favorite topics -- goodbye sessions with clients! 

We'll explore: 

• Cultural traditions with goodbyes/death/loss
• How to honor relational ethics
• How to adhere to legal statutes + malpractice insurance best practices
• Utilize a healthy goodbye structure
• Process self-of-the-therapist grief and loss with personal + clinical goodbyes

This will be a day of experiential learning including: small/large group discussion, role play, embodiment practices, and creative expression. It's going to be a great time!

The training will be held on Zoom. You'll receive the link one week before event.

FAQ's:

• Will the training be recorded? No - in order to create a safe container for experiential learning I've chosen not to record this.  Participants are being asked to be witnessed in their vulnerability and we'll need a foundation of safety in order to do that. Having a recording threatens the safety that is a prerequisite for vulnerability.
• Is there a self-guided version? Not yet - but I'm exploring what this can look like. I intend to create an option that would be self-guided and available 24/7 at the users convenience.
