Radical Supervision for BIPOC Identities

Join LMFT's Jessi Leader (AAMFT, BMFT + BBHT Supervisor) and Leila Comer (AAMFT Supervisor Candidate) as we facilitate a space for radical supervisors who want to better support their BIPOC supervisees.
We'll explore how to navigate broken systems and the current political climate while modeling how to be a healthy enough therapist to your supervisees. We will cover the usual topics of ethics, cultural humility, and adhering to legal statues. However we'll be exploring this through the lens of liberation, embodiment and community.
This will be a day of experiential learning including: small/large group discussion, role play, embodiment practices, and creative expression.
Tentative schedule:
9:45-10:00am: Check-in
10:00-11:45: Community practice
12:00-2:00: Community Practice
2:00-2:15: Community connection

We want to make this training accessible to folks and are offering a pay as able ticket price of $125-225. We trust that you will choose the right option given your resources. Thank you for supporting us + our commitment to creating radical shifts in our community.
If seeking a CE certificate, you'll be prompted to consider making a donation (this isn't required). Any donation you make goes towards our community fund at Moody Octopus, which provides free/low cost therapy for clients who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA or disabled. Additionally, your donation will go twice as far because a local organization will be matching all donations!
