We have been invited by Sarah Clulow to visit Bernard's Farm on 11th June - this date was chosen to give us a chance to see the curlews and hay meadows in their prime. We can have a tour of the farm, learn more about the work to produce food in a nature-friendly, sustainable manner and how this led to the farm receiving the Peak District Environmental Quality award. Sarah would welcome questions and we can have a good chat about climate change, how farmers can or can't help etc. This farm is also planned to be part of the Morridge Hill Landscape Recovery project that is hoped to begin soon, and Sarah could ask if the project manager would come and give us a talk too if that's of interest.
Please note that we will initially meet at St John's Church , Reapsmoor SK17 0LG, not at the farm
Maximum group size - 25
MCA members can book a maximum of 2 tickets each
Please note - no dogs allowed and no children under the age of 10.
