Children ages 6 through 12 are invited to learn about the Civil War with Cory Dieterly, Moravian University Archivist. Listen to the story "You Wouldn't Want to be a Civil War Soldier" by Thomas Ratliff, see an authentic Civil War uniform, and make a craft related to the soldier experience. Learn about the history of Memorial Day and see objects related to the Civil War from the collection of the Moravian Historical Society. The program is free to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note, the program is on the second floor of our historic eighteenth-century building, which is accessible only by stairs.
