Moray Beekeepers Association Introduction to Beekeeping Course

Moray Beekeepers Association are running an Introduction to Beekeeping course at Greenmyres Eco Bothy, just south of Huntly off the A96, on Saturday June 21st 2025, 09.30- 1600.

This is for anyone just taking up beekeeping or who wants to learn more about honeybees. We'll have a classroom session in the morning then, after lunch, you will meet the bees and we'll show you the fascinating world inside the hive. During the day you will learn about the life history of the honeybee and find out what is required to get you started as a beekeeper.

We charge £40 for the course and this includes the cost of the venue, refreshments during the day, a light sandwich lunch and the use of protective clothing in the apiary.
