Dr Artemio Arturo Cortez Ochoa and Antonia Voigt join us to discuss their work on teacher accountability in Mumbai and Kathmandu.
Presenters
Artemio Arturo Cortez Ochoa is a Lecturer in Education at the Department of Education, University of Bath. He was previously a Lecturer in Education at the University of Bristol and a Research Associate at the REAL Centre, University of Cambridge. His research interests include educational leadership, policy, research, and practice related to quality education and educational improvement in global south contexts, as well as school leaders’ and teachers’ initial education and continuing professional development.
Antonia Voigt is a Doctoral candidate at the School of Education, University of Bristol. She completed her Masters in Education in the Comparative Education and International Development (CEID) pathway at Moray House in 2020. Her research interests include educational inequalities, quality education, educational policy and innovation, particularly in the Asia Pacific Region.
