The CEID Research Group is happy to welcome Dr Jordan Naidoo for an important conversation on UNESCO, the SDGs, and global education in the post-2030 world. As the inaugural Director for UNESCO’s Division for Education 2030, Jordan Naidoo played a pivotal role in shaping and negotiating the global education agenda under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Building on his earlier leadership at UNICEF, where he co-led UN efforts on the post-2015 development agenda, he was central to the drafting of the Incheon Declaration and the Education 2030 Framework for Action, embedding principles of equity, inclusion, and lifelong learning into SDG 4.
Dr Naidoo will be joined in the conversation by CEID Research Group chair and former UNESCO Global Education Monitoring Report Sr Policy Analyst, Dr William C. Smith. Following their conversations there will time for the audience to ask additional questions of Dr Naidoo.
