Exploring the opportunities for a Creativity & Nature Wellbeing Network in Moray
This hybrid FREE event is in person at MAC, with the option to join online using the zoom platform if unable to make this (preference is for in person to provide a meaningful connection).
Refreshments will be served including some sandwiches to revive and sustain attendees.
This is an event to help form the network through sharing the learning from founding partners Moray Art Centre (MAC) and Moray Wellbeing Hub (MWH) around their recent project 'Creativity in Nature'. MWH will also share other examples of learning and potential future projects to help seed discussion and exploration. This includes the 'For Enjoyment Creative Workshops Moray' approach and the 'Feelgood Festival'.
Organisations of all sizes are welcome who have an interest in exploring and building a strength base collaborative mutual approach.
A Creativity & Nature Wellbeing Network in Moray aims to connect organisations in North East Scotland that offer experiences designed to improve wellbeing through creatively and / or nature in Moray.
The ambition for the network is to increase;
- shared resources
- develop ideas
- collaborate for funding
Through a values-based approach.
Join us to blow away the Hogmanay cobwebs and kickstart your 2023 with new ideas and supportive partners!

FAQs:
What makes Moray Wellbeing Hub courses different?
Real life experiences: We believe in harnessing the power of life experiences, taking what can be challenging and abstract concepts and make it more 'real', practically useful and easier to relate to for participants. Wherever possible our courses are delivered by peer-trainers, people who know the approaches and experiences first hand from their own life.
Keeping it local: Moray has a wealth of support and education organisations in wellbeing. Our courses are delivered for the benefit of the Moray community and therefore endeavour to help our participants build sustainable links beyond any course; resources they can signpost to and access in Moray. Wherever possible we will use local trainers, venues and resources, as well as promote and deliver our courses in mutual partnership with all sizes of local organisations.
