The ‘Mental Wealth in Moray Community Research Network’ (CRN) will look at what works well in creating mental health and wellbeing in Moray by focusing on strong partnership and community-driven action.

By catalysing this spirit of collaboration, this Community Research Network will increase learning about the local challenges and formalising structures that may help transform mental health and wellbeing in later years.

Moray Wellbeing Hub CIC will take the lead on one of 25 new national community research networks funded by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Moray Wellbeing Hub, alongside our fellow founding partner the Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre, are therefore inviting community organisations and residents of Moray and neighbouring areas to contribute to the CRN. By joining the network, participating in setting the research agenda, and by taking part in addressing the knowledge and practice gaps, the Moray community can help focus progress on mental wellbeing and co-create solutions.

Launch Event - Wednesday 26th April at UHI Moray 

At this Launch event we hope to attract a range of potential partners from the community, research and statutory services and begin the process of first priority setting.

The event will include a range of Pecha Kucha style talks, interactive sessions, information about our Moray wide Roadshow where you can sign up to hold a space and more information about Phase 2 of the project.

The network’s focus areas will be co-produced aligning with the needs of community and civil society. The CRN will:

• host workshops and exhibitions
• inform policy, practice and public understanding
• feed into development processes underway for improving mental heath and wellbeing in Moray
• bid for further funding from Innovate UK to enable the network to continue longer term and take forward the areas identified from this first phase of funding

This is a free event; lunch will be provided for all attendees so we ask you to join the guest list to confirm your space.

Funded by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the work is led by Moray Wellbeing Hub and the Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre.
