Asylum-16 Limited Edition Collectables

Once again for Asylum 16 we have designed a small number of collectable items which you can pre-order through this page. We make a limited number of each design, most (if not all) of which are likely to sell out before the event begins. Any which remain unsold at that point will be available for purchase at Event Control but we do not recommend you wait until then as you may well be disappointed. 

This is the only place you can preorder your medal and pin badges. Fulfilment is at The Asylum. You will receive a QR code ticket when you buy that can be redeemed at event control. We will not be mailing out any medals or pins.

OFFICIAL ASYLUM-16 MEDAL

This first design is our medal for 2025. This is the artwork we have sent to to the manufacturers. When we receive the manufacturer's proof and then the finished product we will upload further images to this page. This year's medal depicts a red steampunk dragon, inspired by our theme for the Asylum 16 which will be 'Year of the Dragon'.

Just as with our previous medals this one will be 30 mm diameter and suspended by rings from a grosgrain medal ribbon and pin. 

ASYLUM-16 CHARITY PIN

The second design is this year's Charity Pin. All proceeds from the sale of this pin will be donated to Lend With Care (see more information on the MoS website). This year's pin includes a dragon egg to fit in with our theme. The background will be bright silver. The diameter will be 1.25 inches. This is the manufacturer's proof design. We will share a photograph of the actual product once received.  

TIME TRAVELLER'S ASSOCIATION

The third design for 2026 is the Ministry of Steampunk 'Time Travel Association' pin. Time Travel has always been a popular idea in Steampunk (which is a kind of time travel in itself) and our highest profile gig at Asylum has been called 'Time Travellers' for many years. The design incorporates the letters TTA over a mixture of cogs, mathematical and elemental symbols. Shown here is the manufacturer's proof. This will be updated to a photograph of the real product when available. The height of this pin will be 1.5 inches. 

T-SHIRTS

This year's T-shirt bears the image of a dragon in white against a black background matching the artwork below. At the present time we are taking orders only for T-shirts that we currently have in stock which will be sent out by Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service in the first half of August. We may order a further batch of T-shirts for collection and/or sale at the event but this is not guaranteed.   

If you are travelling to the Asylum from outside of the UK you may order one of the current batch of t-shirts which will be available for you to collect at Asylum. We are not currently taking orders from UK steampunks for t-shirts to be collected at Asylum.
