Welcome to Steampunk Halloween 2026
Fright Club and the 2026 Halloween Medal
Once again as the veil between the worlds of the living and dead grows thin the Ministry of Steampunk are getting ready to lead you into our fifth incarnation of Steampunk Halloween. We are returning to the County Assembly Rooms in Lincoln which was such a splendid venue for our last two spooky revels in 2024 and 2025. The Assembly Rooms are loved by Steampunks for their historic splendour and warm welcome particularly during The Asylum.
And they have the best ghosts, too.
On Saturday and Sunday daytime you will be able to browse our market of specialised steampunk traders and creators along with a programme of features, workshops and performances. Admission during the day is included if you book to attend either of our evening offerings and you will be issued with a wristband. Alternatively you can buy handstamped day admission on the door for just £2 (cash only though folks).
We begin on Friday evening with the Ministry's first ever…

Now, the first rule of Fright Club is You don't talk about Fright Club. And the second rule of Fright Club is also You don't talk about Fright Club. So we really can't say too much here, but if you attended Ghost Night in 2024 or Zombie Night in 2025 you will have gained entry to the ballroom through the spooky corridor. This year will be different as the whole evening will be based on spookiness and a little bit of mild fear (but nothing really nasty).
The atmosphere will be that of an underground club (you might have to come in through a side entrance) and there will be an illicit feeling to the event, with a casino, some ghost stories, monster-based activities and more that you can dip in and out of as you please (interspersed with trips to the bar to see what 'special' libations they may have lined up for your delectation).
It will be a time for monsters, their owners/handlers and the monster-curious to come together in an intimate steampunk setting for good company with a slight chill down your spine.
Since this will be a less formal event than Saturday's Immortal Ball, feel free to come in relaxed steampunk/gothic/monster/underground outfits. Just don't let anyone out in the street see you come in.
Doors to Fright Club will open at 7.30PM with carriages at 11PM
14+ only.
THE STEAMPUNK HALLOWEEN V MEDAL
The Asylum 16 MoS medal bearing a left-facing red dragon was particularly popular this year, so for our Halloween V medal we have created a right-facing black dragon to match. The artwork is seen here. It will be cast in antique brass effect metal and there will be two small black bats keeping the dragon company. The ribbon will be plain black.

For the first time this year we will be offering a discount to those who purchase a ticket for both Friday night and the medal; this will be a saving of £5 on the combined cost of the two.
Finally, please note that there is a separate ticketing link for The Immortal Ball. This is because the ball has allocated seating. You will find the page where you can book tickets to The Immortal Ball at https://buytickets.at/mosevent/2410376
