STEM/EELS at the forefront of condensed matter

Welcome to EELS2025, a school on new frontiers in “STEM/EELS at the forefront of condensed matter” organized within the ICMAB Series of Schools on topics that are at the forefront of solid state physics and condensed matter. It will take place on July 10th and 11th at ICMAB, in the Campus of Universitat Autònoma de Bellaterra.

The school on STEM/EELS 2025 offers a unique opportunity to learn and understand the fundamentals of these excitations and their evolution under operational conditions from lecturers that are at the forefront of this new research field. 

The school will be hybrid: both in-person and online registrations are open until July 4th.

General registration fee is €100 (both for in-person and online participants). Fee for students is €80. The registration fee includes morning and afternoon coffee breaks. Lunch during the workshops will be at participants' expense.
