Helen Hancock & Triskel Ensemble

Galway based soprano and recording artist Helen Hancock is acclaimed for her expressive artistry and for the warm rapport she generates with her audience.Helen formed the Triskel Ensemble in 2025. This international group of string musicians has been charming audiences all over Ireland selling out in venues from The Mick Lally Theatre Galway to Rathfarnham Castle Dublin. Delighted to return to Mount Carmel, they will once again offer an ecclectic mix of musical theatre, movie themes, popular classics and of course Christmas music and maybe even some audience singing also! 

Helen sings nationally and internationally. Her debut album TOGETHERNESS was released on the Navona Label in September 2025 and is available to stream on Spotify and all major streaming channels. This programme was recorded with pianist Paul Cibis in Berlin in 2024 following a performance in Germany as part of Zeitgeist Irland 24, an initiative of Culture Ireland and The Embassy of Ireland, Germany. Recent engagements have included Boyle Arts Festival and Galway Culture Night in Galway City Museum 2026. She performed a lead role in "Lady Gregory in America", in the Alberto Caruso/Colm Tóibín opera "Lady Gregory in America" in September 2025 at the annual Yeats-Gregory Autumn Gathering in association with The Abbey Theatre and produced/directed by Lelia Doolan to great acclaim.
