Step away from the pace of everyday practice and join us for an inspiring and restorative two-day educational retreat designed exclusively for early years, EYFS and KS1 educators passionate about movement, play, wellbeing, and pedagogy.  Together, we will explore evidence informed strategies to promote a movement and play based methodology using both practical and theoretical content within this beautiful setting.

On 4–5 June 2027, we invite you to the beautiful Eastwood Hall, Nottingham, for the Move More & Play Educational Retreat, an intimate, immersive experience led by Ruth Lue-Quee (M-Ed)  and Helen Battelley (MA), created to nourish both professional practice and personal wellbeing.

Set within glorious grounds and tranquil gardens, this small-group retreat offers the rare opportunity to slow down, reflect deeply, and reconnect with the joy and purpose of early years education alongside like-minded professionals.
Your retreat experience includes:

>Evidence-informed movement and play strategies to strengthen pedagogy and practice

>Pedagogy walks through the grounds and gardens

>Mindfulness and reflective sessions on the lawn
