Move the World is a UK registered charity and registered NGO in Ghana focused on community development and global citizenship education in the Ga West Municipality of Ghana, West Africa. Our mission is to maximise life opportunities of young people globally through inspirational sustainable development focused learning and education. Our community-led, experiential education programmes support youth to discover more about themselves, their community and the world around them igniting leadership skills through social action and enterprise. We work with schools to deliver our flagship global citizenship education programmes, Get Global and Get Local, using the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as learning themes. Both curriculums are seven month grassroots-led programmes designed and delivered by local, trained 'change-makers’ - our Move the World (MTW) facilitators.
