🌿 Who is this Jam for?

This weekend is a container to dive deeper among people who already feel comfortable exploring movement, weight, and connection with others. 

For that, we ask that you have about a year of CI experience (or a good level in other mindfulness body-oriented practices)

🌀 The schedule

Alongside plenty of open dancing, contemplative dance practice to start the day, and bodywork/warm ups to start the afternoon, it will include moments for the group to arrive, connect, and reflect. We're also considering creating space for participants to offer something to the group: a practice, exploration, music. We'll share more details about the schedule in the coming weeks.

🍲 Food

Healthy and nourishing snacks are included, but main meals are not included. If you do not bring your own food, there are many places to buy food within walking distance of the studio). And who knows, perhaps we'll end up sharing some of what we each make. :)

🤲 Needs & offers

We'd also like to make space for people's needs and offers. If you have a particular need (i.e. allergies or space to sleep), or if there's something you can offer (i.e., sleeping spots) to others during the weekend, please share it through the form that will be sent to you by email after registration. 

💚 Money matters

We're using a sliding scale of €60–90 to cover organizing costs and the studio. The idea is that those with more capacity can help make the weekend accessible to those with less.

• €60 — Solidarity

• €75 — Recommended contribution

• €90 — Supporter

If our capacity allows, we'd also love to share some of the money with a musician who can come and play live for us to dance to. 🎶

If possible, please transfer your full contribution by bank transfer so we avoid transaction fees. If you'd prefer not to pay the full amount yet, a minimum deposit of half your contribution (€30 minimum) is necessary to confirm your spot. If you cancel by 16 October (two weeks before the event), you won't be asked to pay the remaining amount. After that date, the remaining contribution will still be due.

Marco And Mathieu

Marco is a relational and decision-making facilitator who draws on somatic dance, contemporary dance, and Hip Hop. Mathieu is an experienced Contact Improv practitioner with 10 years of teaching experience, a Shiatsu therapist, and soon-to-be physiotherapist.
