This international study tour demonstrates how shared mobility is integrated into a community’s permanent land-use and developer policies, moving far beyond short-term pilots.
In this BC edition of the tour, participants learn how municipalities in Metro Vancouver and Victoria Island have created stable, long-term frameworks that de-risk shared mobility for cities, developers, and operators.
Study Tour Focus
Long-term Mobility Management policy, developer-funded integration, curbside vs. private governance, and permanent shared mobility systems.
Venue & Schedule
A 2.5-day program starting 14th April 2026, taking participants across project sites in Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and Whistler.

Study Tour Guides & Guest Speakers
The study tour will be guided by Venkatesh Gopal, CEO at movmi, and Angelo Meuleman, Practice Lead for Training & Engagement at movmi, who bring deep experience in shared mobility policy, feasibility, and real-world implementation across international contexts.
Participants will also be joined by guest speaker Zachary Strom, Senior TravelSmart Specialist at TransLink, with additional speakers to be announced.
