This event is a three day physical theatre intensive for all skill levels, run by award winning Meanjin/Brisbane company Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre.
The Company
Zen Zen Zo has produced 3 decades of large-scale, site-specific, immersive, physical and visual theatre for national and international audiences. At the forefront of contemporary performance training for 30 years, this intensive will be run by company co-founder Dr Lynne Bradley.
The Training
This workshop will focus on two of Zen Zen Zo’s core company trainings—The Viewpoints and The Suzuki Actor Training Method—chosen specifically to equip actors for physical energy, vocal quality and range, concentration, ensemble awareness and imagination. These methods develop the fundamental performance skills that help an actor/dancer/performer to achieve dynamic stage presence.
