Yoga Under the Stars

Join us for a peaceful, hour-long yoga experience beneath a star-filled dome. Yoga Under the Stars blends gentle movement, mindful breathing, and immersive visuals to create a calming and restorative evening.

This session is led by Wendy Hill Manson, a retired Marquette Senior High School science teacher who has been teaching fitness classes in our community for more than 13 years. Wendy is trained in Pilates, yoga, breathwork, and meditation, all of which are thoughtfully incorporated into a class designed to promote relaxation, stress relief, and connection.

Surrounded by the night sky, participants will move through a guided, accessible practice in a tranquil atmosphere. This experience is intentionally calming and inclusive rather than fast-paced or physically intense. All experience levels are welcome.

Logistics

• Doors open at 6:30 pm and will lock promptly at 6:45 pm so the session can begin on time.

• Please plan to arrive at 6:30 pm. Late entry will not be permitted once the program begins.

• A session will take place immediately beforehand, so if you arrive earlier than 6:30 pm, please wait in the hallway or in your vehicle until doors open.

• Participants should bring their own yoga mat and blocks if needed.

Cost: $25 per participant. All proceeds directly support the Shiras Planetarium and help sustain community programming.

The planetarium entrance is the small canopy entrance on the SE corner of the building. This entrance is shared with the Auxiliary gym. 

If you are unable to attend at least one hour prior to the event start time, you may visit https://www.tickettailor.com/self-service/mqt to release your tickets in exchange for ticket vouchers valid for a future show. Tickets that are not checked in before the show begins will be invalidated and considered a donation to the planetarium.
