Adapting to Change Follow-up: Social Care - Part Two

Wed 9 Sep 2026 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM BST Online, Zoom

The Adapting to Change peer support group is a warm, welcoming space for people living with muscular dystrophy to learn from each other’s experiences.

The group is led by peers, and is a chance to share stories, ask questions, offer encouragement, and talk honestly about the changes life with muscular dystrophy can bring.

If you would like to connect with a member of the group, please get in touch with the MD Support Centre, who will give you more information.

Upcoming topic: Social Care follow-up

Do you access Social Care? What has your experience been?

This online follow-up session is a chance to come back together after the Social Care discussion, ask further questions, and share any thoughts or reflections that have come up since.

You are very welcome to attend this follow-up even if you were not able to attend the first session.

The Social Care follow-up will take place on Wednesday 9 September, 6pm–7pm.

How it works

Each topic is explored in two parts.

Part One: Hybrid peer discussion
The first session takes place as a hybrid discussion, with people joining in person at our Coventry Centre and online via Zoom. More information here: bit.ly/mdsc-atc-aug

Part Two: Online follow-up
This follow-up session is online only, via Zoom.

You can attend either session, or both. You do not need to have attended Part One to join Part Two.

How to join

Click Choose Session to book your place for Part Two.

You will receive an email confirmation with your ticket, including the Zoom link. We will also send a reminder closer to the time.

We look forward to welcoming you.
