About Northern Marketing and Communications Network
The Marketing and Communications Peer Support Network brings together paid staff and volunteers responsible for marketing and communications in museums across the Museum Development North area. Many work alone or combine this work with several other responsibilities. The network offers a friendly space to share ideas, ask questions, discuss challenges and support one another. Through honest examples, practical advice and shared resources, it aims to reduce isolation, build confidence and help museums reach and engage their audiences' using approaches that work with limited time and budgets.
About this session
Theme: Environmental Responsibility in Marketing and Communications
This session aims to help museum staff and volunteers explore environmental responsibility in marketing and communications. We will share practical ways to reduce the environmental impact of our work and communicate what our museums are doing clearly and honestly. Through examples and discussion, we will learn from one another, explore common challenges and identify ideas to try in our own museums.
