Visit a display of imaginative gingerbread structures created by NYC architects at The Gingerbread City.
Please book your time slots to ensure entry especially during busy times such as the weekend and during the week of Christmas
Exhibition Opening times:
Monday - Friday until December 19th : 10am - 5:00pm. Last entry at 4:30pm
Saturday - Sunday & from December 22: 9am - 7:00pm. Last entry 6:30pm
Special Opening Hours:
December 24 & December 31: 9am - 2:00pm. Last entry 1:30pm
December 26: 12:00pm - 7:00pm. Last entry 6:30pm.
We are closed on December 25 and January 1, 2026

About The Gingerbread City®

Originating in London, The Gingerbread City® is an annual exhibition celebrating the creativity of architects and designers, using gingerbread, icing, and candies to explore playful ideas in architecture and urban design. Now in its ninth year, each installment features a themed challenge that addresses current city planning issues through this sweet medium—perfect for the holiday season.
INFORMATION for visitors
- Tickets will be emailed to you, please show the QR code on a device (or printed out) when you arrive.
- Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- Under 3s are welcomed to come in with an adult, maximum 2 under 3's per one parent or guardian.
Visitor guidelines
- No coat room or storage; please avoid bringing large bags, backpacks, suitcases, bicycles, or scooters. The exhibition space can accommodate regular-sized pushchair for babies.
- No food or drinks allowed inside; guide dogs only.
- Some structures contain nuts—please ask us for allergy info upon arrival.
- Photographs, videos, or recordings for commercial purposes require prior permission.
- No dangerous items allowed.
- We reserve the right to deny entry or ask visitors to leave without refund if necessary.
- The exhibition may close or restrict access at any time without prior notice or compensation.
- Please stay home if unwell to help us keep everyone safe.
