**UPDATE for Workshop ticket holders** If preferred, we are able to wrap up your gingerbread house kit for you to collect and take home to create. Please email us your request at least 3 days in advance so we can prepare the kit(s) for you.

Sign up for our festive workshops taking place every day during the exhibition. Our workshops are designed around the exhibition theme of Nature in the City and this evening time slot is suitable for adults and families.

Workshops run daily. Advance booking is essential.

Evening Workshops

18.00 -19.30: For adults and families

Evening workshop for ONE (1) kit : £40 -  for one person or for one parent with one child.

Add one more adult sharing the same Gingerbread house kit: £12. Maximum 2 persons per kit.


All materials to make the gingerbread house will be provided.


*The gingerbread has been made in an environment that contains nuts.

Gingerbread Ingredients: Butter, Ginger, Egg, Icing Sugar, Sugar, Golden Syrup, Bicarbonate Soda, Flour.

About the workshop:

  • Tickets will be emailed to you, please be prepared to show it on a device or printed out when you arrive.
  • Workshop sessions are scheduled for 1-1/2 hours but you may finish in less time. Please arrive promptly for your reserved time.
  • Please note that we are not able to admit visitors before their reserved time slot. This is to maintain a limited number of visitors inside the exhibition.

Please note: Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If preferred, we are able to wrap up your gingerbread house kit for you to collect and take home to create. Please email us your request at least 3 days in advance so we can prepare the kit(s) for you.


To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our visitors, we are limiting the number of visitors in the exhibition space with timed-entry system and running workshop with limited number of visitors. Therefore, we'd ask you to please arrive promptly for your ticketed time. Please note this also means that we are not able to admit visitors before their reserved time slot, or allow longer visiting time after your ticketed slot.

Further, we have introduced new health and safety measures to reduce the risk associated with the presence of COVID – 19 in line with government advice and the requirements of Public Health England. Please read more below.

What’s Expected of Attendees:

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our visitors, we’d appreciate it if you'd respect these new policies and help us keep our Exhibition a safe space to be enjoyed by everyone.

  • If you feel unwell, please stay at home.

  • Use hand sanitiser provided on arrival.

  • Wear a face covering in the exhibition space, the workshop area and in our shop, and please be mindful and respect other visitors who are not in your visitors group.

  • Please note only contactless payments are accepted in our shop.

  • You may be refused entry or asked to leave if displaying symptoms of COVID 19.

  • Follow the general guidance of the Government and Public Health England found here.

Please also note:

  • There are no cloakroom and no storage on site. Please do not bring large backpacks, large bags or suitcases, bicycles, children or adult scooters as we cannot store them inside the space.

  • No food and drinks allowed. No animals are allowed inside except for guide dogs.

  • Photographs, videotaping, or recording for commercial use are not allowed.

  • No potentially dangerous items may be brought into the exhibition.

  • We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the exhibition without refund, liability or compensation if the circumstances require us to do so.

  • We may from time to time, without prior notice and without refund, liability or compensation, close the exhibition or any part of it temporarily or restrict the number of persons having access if the circumstances require us to do so.
