Make your own take-home gingerbread masterpiece in our workshop area. All of our gingerbread house making kits are delicious and freshly hand-made by our award winning baker, and we order each kit only after your confirmed booking.
Each ticket is one gingerbread-house kit, it is suitable for 2 to 4 people to share and make.
The ticket includes - workshop presentation about the theme of our exhibition, gingerbread pieces for one gingerbread structure per workshop group. Also included are 2 bags of candy, and two icing bags for your creative decoration.

About our Gingerbread House-making Workshop:
All of our gingerbread house making kits are delicious, edible and freshly hand-made by our award winning baker after your booking. These kits are perishable food and we cannot keep them for future use. All bookings are non-refundable and non-changeable. If you are not able to come to the workshop anymore, please email us and tell us when you are coming to pick up your house-making kit - must be during The Gingerbread City exhibition hours.
The Gingerbread House-making Workshop ticket is perfect to share for 2 or up to 4 people in a family and make one gingerbread house together. Must include one parent or guardian in the group if there are children under 18's in the group.
Under-3 is free to come into the workshop with a ticketed parent/guardian for the workshop. Maximum ONE (1) Under-3 per group of 4.
All workshop groups must have at least 1 ticketed adult present at all times. All under 18's need to be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Allergy warnings:
*The gingerbread has been made in an environment that contains nuts.
Gingerbread Ingredients: Butter, Ginger, Egg, Icing Sugar, Sugar, Golden Syrup, Bicarbonate Soda, Wheat flour. Some of the candy contains: cows milk, wheat, soy and gelatin. We have veggie sweets - please ask us for these if you'd prefer.
INFORMATION about the Gingerbread Workshop:
- This is a Workshop-Only ticket. Exhibition ticket is not included.
- Each workshop is scheduled for one hour, but you may need more time or less time to finish your structure. Everyone works at their own pace.
- At the end of the hour-long workshop, we will wrap up your creation for you to take home in a big paper bag.
- Our gingerbread workshop is suitable for children aged 3 and up with adult supervision.
- Bookings are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Once you have booked your tickets, we do not offer any refunds or exchanges. All the gingerbread house kit is ordered after your tickets confirmation. If you are unable to attend, please email us to arrange for a date to pick up your gingerbread kit(s) from the workshop to enjoy at home.
About your visit:
There are no coatrooms and no storage space on site. Please do not bring large backpacks, large bags or suitcases, bicycles, children or adult scooters as we cannot store them anywhere in the exhibition space.
No food and drinks allowed. No animals are allowed inside except for guide dogs.
Allergy notice: Some Gingerbread City structures are decorated with nuts. Please ask us for more info when you arrive at the exhibition.
Photographs, videotaping, or recording for commercial use are not allowed without prior arrangement with Museum of Architecture.
No dangerous items to be brought into the exhibition.
We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the exhibition without refund, liability or compensation if the circumstances require us to do so.
We may from time to time, without prior notice and without refund, liability or compensation, close the exhibition or any part of it temporarily or restrict the number of persons having access if the circumstances require us to do so.
If you feel unwell, please stay at home and rest. Help us keep everyone healthy and safe.
