Meet Up Contemporary Dance Performance by Stavri Kalopetridou

" Θα έρθεις; Το Φεγγάρι βλέπει. Βλέπει την Ψυχή και καθορίζει την μυστήρια αύρα που έχει η νύχτα.Γεμίζει την μοναξιά μου.Αν δεν το πιστεύεις, κοιτά ψηλά και θα το αντικρίσεις... Πόσες φορές αναρωτήθηκες ποιος άλλος το κοιτάει την ίδια στιγμή που το κοιτάς κι εσύ.. Ίσως εγώ;… Ας δώσουμε μια υπόσχεση εσύ και εγώ, να περιμένει ο ένας τον άλλο στο ίδιο σημείο. Τι λες; Θα έρθεις ;

Η χορεύτρια και χορογράφος Στάυρη Καλοπετρίδου κάτω από το φώς του φεγγαριού θα παρουσιάσει μια σόλο παρουσίαση με την ζωντανή συνοδεία της μουσικού Εμιλη Τσιάνου. Οι δυο καλλιτέχνες μέσα από την προσωπική τους προσέγγιση θα δώσουν μορφή σε ότι ονομάζουμε κρυφά και εξιστορούμε στο φεγγάρι κάθε φορά που το κοιτάμε τα βράδια, θαυμάζοντας το. Η παράσταση αγγίζει τις εκείνες στιγμές που αφήνουμε την ψυχή μας ελεύθερη να πετάξει με ένα προορισμό. Εκείνη τη στιγμή που μπροστά στην επιβλητική παρουσία του φεγγαριού, το κορμί μας φαίνεται μικρό, λούζεται με λησμονιά αλλά και ελπίδα.

"Will you come? The moon is watching ... It sees the Soul, defining the mysterious Aura of the night. Filling my solitude. If you don't believe it, look up High, and you will witness it. How many times have you wondered who else is looking at it at the same moment as you? Let's make a promise, you and I, to wait for each other on the same spot. What do you say? Will you come?"

Dancer and choreographer Stavri Kalopetridou will present a solo act under the moonlight, accompanied by musician Emili Tsianou. Through their personal approach, the performance touches on those moments when the soul is set free to fly and under the moon’s imposing presence, our body feels small, bathed in oblivion but also hope.

Alexis Sunder Duo

Ο Alexis Sunder είναι ένας Κύπριος τραγουδιστής-τραγουδοποιός του οποίου ο χαρακτηριστικός ήχος καθορίζεται από εντυπωσιακά grooves, εκφραστικά φωνητικά και χρωματιστές μελωδίες. Μαζί με τη μπάντα του, ο Sunder προσφέρει ένα εκλεκτικό μουσικό σύνολο σε ενεργητικό και ήπιο κλίμα που συνδυάζει soul, funk και pop-rock. Ως ντουέτο, με τον βιρτουόζο κιθαρίστα Ανδρέα Επαμεινώντα, ο Sunder θα παρουσιάσει κομμάτια σε δυνατά χρώματα ρετρό ήχου.

Alexis Sunder is a Cypriot singer-songwriter whose signature sound is defined by head-bobbing grooves, soulful vocals and sunny melodies. Along with his live band, Sunder offers a groove-driven eclectic set with both energetic and mellow vibes that blend soul, funk and pop-rock. As a duo, with virtuoso guitarist Andreas Epaminonda, Sunder will present fresh impressions on strong retro sound colours.

The Mannaloop Project

Οι Mannaloop Project είναι ένα ακουστικό ντουέτο με τον Νικόλα Χριστοδούλου στις κιθάρες/loop/φωνητικά και τον Κωνσταντίνο Παυλίδη στα κρουστά. Αυτό το δυναμικό dup θα παίξει μουσικές επιλογές από τη ροκ/μπλουζ σκηνή μαζί με ένα loop twist.

The Mannaloop Project is an acoustic duo featuring Nikolas Christodoulou on guitars/loops/vocals and Constantinos Pavlides on percussions. This dynamic pair will play a power set through the rock/blues scene tied together with a loop twist.

Nico Bros

Το Nico Bros, ένα δυναμικό μουσικό δίδυμο από την Κύπρο, αποτελείται από τα ταλαντούχα αδέρφια Διονύση και Μάικ Νικολάου. Ο Διονύσης μαγεύει με τα φωνητικά και την ακουστική του κιθάρα ενώ ο Μάικ εντυπωσιάζει με την ηλεκτρική κιθάρα και το σαξόφωνο. Μαζί, ως Nico Bros, προσφέρουν ένα ποικίλο ρεπερτόριο, δημιουργώντας μια αξέχαστη μουσική εμπειρία.

Nico Bros, a dynamic musical duo from Cyprus, consists of talented brothers Dionysis and Mike Nicolaou. Dionysis mesmerises with his vocals, acoustic guitar and stomp, while Mike dazzles with electric guitar and soulful saxophone. Together, as Nico Bros, they offer a diverse repertoire, creating an unforgettable musical experience.

Gaba Project

Οι Gaba Project (Βασίλης Βασιλείου και Χριστίνα Πολυκάρπου) συνδυάζουν για πρώτη παγκόσμια φορά, το handpan και τα κρουστά μαζί με τη λύρα. Το handpan είναι όργανο σύγχρονο με μυσταγωγικό ηχόχρωμα , ενώ η λύρα είναι μουσικό όργανο που προέρχεται από την εδραιωμένη και δυναμική κρητική παράδοση. Εκτός από δικές τους συνθέσεις, παίζουν και ένα μικρό μέρος από διασκευές κυρίως παραδοσιακών μουσικών της ανατολικής Μεσογείου, με μία εντελώς φρέσκια διάθεση.

Gaba Project (Vasilis Vasiliou and Christina Polycarpou) combines the handpan and the lyra for the first time worldwide. The duet from the island of Cyprus, focuses on experimenting with new musical approaches (arrangement, composition and soundscapes) that arise through their individual influences.. The mystic modern sound of the handpan is respectfully combined with tradition, creating a powerful yet sensitive sound which unites these two different musical pathways.
