The first Canadian and 6th global edition of Music Tourism Convention will take place on Cape Breton Island and is presented by Music Cities Events and Destination Cape Breton. 

Music Tourism Convention will bring together 35+ speakers and 250 delegates from all over the world and from different industries for the world’s most extensive conference exploring how music impacts, benefits and improves tourism, branding, partnerships and economic development.

What we're planning:

• This will be our 6th global edition, following previous events in Europe and North America.
  
• Delegates will range from: Mayor, Director of Tourism, Musician, Head of Marketing, Minister of Culture, Festival Director, Professor, Director of Conventions, Investment Director, Head of Programming, Global Head of Brand, Global Tour Operator CEO, Real Estate CEO, Creative Director, City Tourism Director, Director of Partnership Strategy, Music Industry CEO and MD, plus many more from the tourism and music industries, government and academia.
• There will be two days of talks, two evening events and lots of networking opportunities and live music.
• We'll also be organising an optional, three-day pre-Convention tour for everyone interested in experiencing and enjoying the Island's music tourism offers and heritage.
