This ticket gives you access to all 4 training days at a reduced rate when purchased all together. You will be able to attend all dates for the price of £320, as opposed to £400 if buying separately. This is the only opportunity for a reduced fee, and it is not possible to purchase the training days separately at the reduced price.
Over the course of the four training days, you will be taken from an introductory level to more advanced skills and ideas, including planning and reflecting models. You will be able to implement activities and ideas immediately, developing over time, working with a group of people with dementia, and connecting with others in the field.
By the end of the four sessions, you will have:
- understood the rationale and benefits of using music with people with dementia
- learned introductory musical and creative activities that can be implemented immediately in your group, setting or context
- explored new musical and creative activities that extend and deepen your practice
- considered the concepts of person-centred and relationship-centred ways of working
- been introduced to various models and processes of planning and reflection
- developed area(s) of your practice
- received peer feedback and support in your practice devised, planned and delivered musical and creative activities with people with dementia
- reflected with others on the live session with people with dementia
- considered your next steps in this work
- gained the necessary skills to work musically alongside people living with dementia
- connected with others in the field of music and dementia
