Seth Bernard

Seth Bernard, described by Northern Express as “a guitar-toting folkie known for his uplifting live shows, his prolific body of work, and his numerous efforts to bring about social change,” was born and raised on Earthwork Farm in Lake City. He was brought up in the folk and farmstead culture combining agriculture, the arts and community. That led to his founding Earthwork Music, a Michigan-based collective of independent musicians who focus their efforts on community healing. He’s toured the country and abroad, often combining his rootsy music with efforts to help heal the planet. He served as the director of the musical ambassador program On the Ground, cultivating partnerships between communities in southern Mexico, Ethiopia and eastern Congo and in Michigan. He launched the non-profit organization Title Track, engaging creative practice to build resilient social-ecological systems that support clean water, racial equity, and youth empowerment. He somehow finds time to write, perform and record, with a busy performing schedule and 12 solo albums to his credit.

Food and beverages will be available to purchase at the event. There will be local beer and wine offerings. You are welcomed to bring your own picnics. No outside alcohol is allowed.

There are 110 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis, the remaining is open lawn seating. This is an outdoor event, please feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets.
