There’s a strong affinity in Jazz between trumpet and guitar, and it’s one that trumpeter Loz Speyer has long enjoyed, ever since playing duo with Amancio Da Silva in the early 90s. His debut quartet album Two Kinds of Blue (1999, 33 Records) and his various Time Zone lineups all feature guitar as the chordal/melodic instrument.

James Longworth, originally from Australia, became a familiar face in London venues and studios across a range of styles in the 90s and 2000s.
