Based for many years just off the Old Kent Road, Mick Hobbs was a songwriter and musician, who through his “Officer!” collective, and a series of bands (such as "Family Fodder", "The Work”,"Half Japanese” etc ) produced a series of musically rich and fascinating albums from late 70s until his death in 2025
“Mick was a treasure.... he has left us with sounds and ideas that remain fresh and vital.”
The PGs will be plundering that treasure chest and presenting a selection of his songs which are frankly too good to be forgotten.
