Cuban jazz is hot, and the artist we have coming into the Delta Fredericton’s DJ Purdy’s this spring promises to bring even more of that heat. April 4th, come out to enjoy the Cuban roots, jazz and global rhythms of the incendiary Dee Hernandez Band.

This NB based artist has been converting new fans all over with her unique brand of Latin fire. Her efforts have resulted in ECMA and MusicNB nominations and CBC support--both regionally and nationally. Canadian artist Sass Jordan declared Dee a ‘world class jazz singer’, while Maritime Edit magazine called her ‘the voice of Cuban-Canadian jazz’.

Hernandez’s performances have been called a vibrant mix of energy, enchanting vocals and infectious Cuban rhythms. This show is a must see for anyone who needs to get out and ‘shake it’ for a couple of hours. What a way to welcome in the warmer weather of spring!
