It’s one thing to know all the words and how to play the chords, but in order to truly capture the essence of Stevie Ray Vaughan, you need to somehow harness the power and passion that his playing was all about – the emotional range of extreme joy to the pain of the blues, and all points in between. When Stevie Ray Vaughan disciples Connor Fox and Jonnie Price get together to pay tribute to their guitar hero, a special kind of energy takes over the room. This is an intense form of dialogue between two gifted guitarists playing their hearts out, while Jamie Guitar (bass) and Andrew DeMerchant (drums) drive the heartbeat of the project in their respective roles as Double Trouble.
