Brighton Guitar Quartet

Formed in 2019, the Brighton Guitar Quartet plays a wide variety of classical guitar quartet arrangements, from Baroque to Latin jazz, from Classical and Romantic to film soundtracks, as well as contemporary music written specifically for the format. The group has played concerts extensively in Brighton and more widely in Sussex. The concert will include work by local composers, including the premiere of a suite by Guy Richardson, "Velo!" by Bernd Rest, and arrangements of Khachaturian and Ryuichi Sakamoto by Simon Hopkins. https://brightonguitarquartet.
