MLF Debate Club - Monday 19th October

This October, we are excited to host the fourth instalment of our MLF Debate Club.

This session will be a workshop, with group motions focusing on Economics and Systemic Equity - how economic systems distribute wealth, opportunity freedom and power!

Whether you’re completely new to debating or looking to refine your public speaking, this session is especially beginner-friendly. Come sharpen your skills, learn how to structure killer arguments, and unleash your inner Mehdi Hasan, with a special prize for the best speech of the night! 🏆

Designed to encourage critical thinking, respectful disagreement, and intellectual confidence, Debate Club will provide a space to engage seriously with some of the most important questions facing our communities today.

📅 Monday 19th October
🕕 6:00 – 7:45 PM

📖 In advance of the session, we will provide a summary sheet which you can access by joining our WhatsApp GroupChat.  Our facilitator will guide the conversation to ensure it remains thoughtful, grounded, and relevant.

This month’s event is kindly supported by the City of Westminster Multi-Faith Network and Victoria Library, who have generously provided the venue for our gathering.
